Mortgage Advocate Dan Says…
I've been an avid reader of Rip-off Report for many years and from time to time, I have assisted those who requested help. I have also talked to hundreds and hundreds of people about the most intimate detail of their lives; NO! Not that detail, I’m talking about their finances! I have heard horrible stories about how innocent people were taken advantage of by indecent mortgage brokers. These families worked hard for their money only to have it taken away by these ruthless, spineless mortgage brokers and banks with outrageous points and fees. If these mortgage customers only knew what questions to ask…
By the way, I have 43 detailed questions to ask your mortgage broker, in sequential order in this book.
After years in the Mortgage business, I am totally fed up with the way money buyers are taken advantage of. What? You didn’t know that a homeowner ‘buys’ their mortgage from a broker? A mortgage broker is technically a money seller, and it’s not even their money, and they decide how much they make by selling the money to you!!! Some of the things that some dishonest mortgage brokers do such as; make up fees, charge excessive fees, not completely disclose all the fees, change the rate at the closing table, and many other unfair practices are part of their arsenal of tricks to take YOUR Hard-Earned money! WHO IS GOING TO PUT A STOP TO IT? Our Government? Legislation? They don’t have the manpower to police such an endeavor.
Someone needed to put something in writing to defend the mortgage customer from the crooks!
The information I give to you stops the dishonest mortgage broker in their tracks from swindling you out of your money! Honest brokers can make a good honest living by being fair to you.
Inside this book I show you step by step instructions on how to fill out the forms, what to look out for, what questions to ask, and when to ask them. Most important you will understand WHY you are asking them so you don’t have to find out later that you've been had.
I sent out news releases and faxes to almost every media source in the Midwest and did not get so much as a return phone call! Mortgage Brokerage firms and national lenders spend millions of dollars in advertising revenue. I guess I can understand why a cash-strapped newspaper or radio station is more concerned with their bottom line than informing the consumers that keep them in business: GREED!
I am Mortgage Advocate Dan, heralding the coming of mortgage brokers who will take advantage of the uninformed.
Take heed of my warning; Time is money – if you don’t take the time, they will take your money.™
